Fellowship and Joy Through the Word Made Flesh

Why did the Word become flesh? John gives the answer:

fellowship.
“That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:3)
Through Christ, we are invited into God’s own life—not as outsiders, but as beloved children. And out of this fellowship grows joy—deep, enduring joy that circumstances cannot steal.
It is the same joy that sang in Paul’s prison cell, the joy that carried Christ through the cross “for the joy set before Him.”
This joy does not erase pain, but it outlasts it. It steadies the soul.
👉 Reflection: The invitation remains: Come, see, and share life with the God who draws near.

What a great thing to fellowship with Christ
