Confession

, literally means “to say the same thing.” Confession is agreeing with God about reality. It’s saying, “Yes, Lord, You’re right about this part of me.”

And here’s the good news: forgiveness is not about how perfectly you confess. It’s about God’s unchanging character. He is faithful. He is just. He forgives because of Christ’s finished work.

Confession is not groveling, it’s stepping into alignment with truth. And every time we confess, we step deeper into freedom.
